Dimorphos, men\u0161\u00ed z dvoch so \u0161\u00edrkou 160 metrov, obieha okolo Didymos, ktor\u00fd je takmer 5-kr\u00e1t v\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00ed a je pomenovan\u00fd pod\u013ea gr\u00e9ckeho slova pre \u201edvoj\u010da\u201c.<\/p>\n<h1>Kozmick\u00e1 lo\u010f NASA, Dimorphos, Didymos, Double Asteroid Redirection Test<\/h1>\n<p>Ak sa DART \u00faspe\u0161ne spust\u00ed, koncom septembra alebo za\u010diatkom okt\u00f3bra bud\u00faceho roka bezhlavo naraz\u00ed na Dimorphos r\u00fdchlos\u0165ou 6,6 kilometra za sekundu. N\u00e1raz by mal zmen\u0161i\u0165 obe\u017en\u00fa dr\u00e1hu Dimorphosu tak, aby obi\u0161iel Didymos aspo\u0148 o 73 sek\u00fand r\u00fdchlej\u0161ie ako predt\u00fdm. Astron\u00f3movia pou\u017e\u00edvaj\u00faci teleskopy na Zemi bud\u00fa sledova\u0165 Didymos, aby zistil zn\u00e1mky tejto zmeny obe\u017enej dr\u00e1hy, \u010do by bolo evidentn\u00e9 v sp\u00f4sobe, ak\u00fdm sa men\u00ed jeho jas  v priebehu \u010dasu, ke\u010f Dimorphos prech\u00e1dza pred n\u00edm a za n\u00edm.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00e1to komplikovan\u00e1 choreografia m\u00e1 otestova\u0165 my\u0161lienku, \u017ee n\u00e1raz do asteroidu ho m\u00f4\u017ee dostato\u010dne postr\u010di\u0165, aby nenarazil na Zem, hovor\u00ed Nancy Chabotov\u00e1, planet\u00e1rna vedky\u0148a z JHU-APL, ktor\u00e1 pracuje na misii. Pou\u017eitie neohrozen\u00e9ho p\u00e1ru Dimorphos a Didymos je \u201enaozaj inteligentn\u00fd a bezpe\u010dn\u00fd sp\u00f4sob, ako urobi\u0165 tento prv\u00fd test\u201c, hovor\u00ed. K n\u00e1razu d\u00f4jde, ke\u010f bud\u00fa asteroidy 11 mili\u00f3nov kilometrov od Zeme.<\/p>\n<h2>Boj s asteroidom<\/h2>\n<p>Mal\u00e9 asteroidy a \u00falomky asteroidov dopadaj\u00fa na Zem neust\u00e1le, ale v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ina z nich sa rozpadne v atmosf\u00e9re alebo padne ne\u0161kodne na zem ako meteority. NASA identifikovala viac ako 27 000 asteroidov s dr\u00e1hami, ktor\u00e9 ich pribli\u017euj\u00fa k Zemi. In\u00e9, pre kinematografiu menej hodnotn\u00e9 strat\u00e9gie, zah\u0155\u0148aj\u00fa zmenu trajekt\u00f3rie asteroidu letom s kozmickou lo\u010fou ved\u013ea neho, aby ho \u0165ahali pomocou gravita\u010dn\u00fdch s\u00edl, alebo do neho narazili, ako to urob\u00ed misia DART za 330 mili\u00f3nov USD.<\/p>\n<p> z\u00e1vislosti od uhla, pod ktor\u00fdm DART zasiahne asteroid, m\u00f4\u017ee zdvihn\u00fa\u0165 mal\u00fd oblak prachu a sut\u00edn.
