Na okraji tibetskej n\u00e1hornej plo\u0161iny astron\u00f3movia zaznamenali \u017eiarenie obrovskej energie, ak\u00e9 kedy bolo zachyten\u00e9, fot\u00f3ny gama \u017eiarenia a\u017e do 1,4 petaelektr\u00f3nvoltov (PeV). Vystopovali tieto extr\u00e9mne fot\u00f3ny sp\u00e4\u0165 k tuctu ich pravdepodobn\u00fdch zdrojov: k siln\u00fdm tov\u00e1r\u0148am v galaxii Mlie\u010dna dr\u00e1ha, ktor\u00e9 ur\u00fdch\u013euj\u00fa nabit\u00e9 \u010dastice naz\u00fdvan\u00e9 kozmick\u00e9 \u017eiarenie. V\u00fdsledky spochyb\u0148uj\u00fa pochopenie teoretikov, \u010do tieto tov\u00e1rne s\u00fa a ako generuj\u00fa tak\u00e9 vysokoenergetick\u00e9 svetlo.<\/p>\n<h1>\u017diarenie najvy\u0161\u0161ej energie, \u010c\u00ednske observat\u00f3rium LHAASO<\/h1>\n<p>\u201eN\u00e1lezy s\u00fa mimoriadne d\u00f4le\u017eit\u00e9 a p\u00f4sobiv\u00e9,\u201c hovor\u00ed Petra Huentemeyer, astrofyzi\u010dka z Michiganskej technologickej univerzity a hovorky\u0148a konkuren\u010dn\u00e9ho gama teleskopu, observat\u00f3ria High-Altitude Water Cherenkov Observatory (HAWC) v Mexiku. &#8220;Je to obrovsk\u00fd skok ku kone\u010dn\u00e9mu pochopeniu p\u00f4vodu kozmick\u00e9ho \u017eiarenia s obrovskou energiou.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Kozmick\u00e9 \u017eiarenie, ktor\u00e9 bolo objaven\u00e9 pred viac ako 100 rokmi, s\u00fa nabit\u00e9 \u010dastice, vr\u00e1tane prot\u00f3nov a in\u00fdch at\u00f3mov\u00fdch jadier, ktor\u00e9 boli zr\u00fdchlen\u00e9 takmer na r\u00fdchlos\u0165 svetla. Ich zdroje s\u00fa zle pochopen\u00e9, preto\u017ee medzihviezdne magnetick\u00e9 polia ich oh\u00fdbaj\u00fa na ceste k Zemi. Ke\u010f v\u0161ak kozmick\u00e9 l\u00fa\u010de raketovo odch\u00e1dzaj\u00fa od svojich zdrojov, vy\u017earuj\u00fa aj fot\u00f3ny, ktor\u00e9 maj\u00fa zvy\u010dajne pribli\u017ene jednu desatinu energie ako samotn\u00e9 kozmick\u00e9 l\u00fa\u010de, ktor\u00e9 sleduj\u00fa priamu cestu k Zemi. <\/p>\n<p>Hoci zemsk\u00e1 atmosf\u00e9ra blokuje toto svetlo gama, ke\u010f fot\u00f3ny nar\u00e1\u017eaj\u00fa na molekuly vzduchu, vytv\u00e1raj\u00fa sp\u0155\u0161ky sekund\u00e1rnych \u010dast\u00edc a slab\u00e9 modr\u00e9 \u010cerenkovovo svetlo, ktor\u00e9 m\u00f4\u017eu astron\u00f3movia h\u013eada\u0165.<\/p>\n<p>\u010c\u00ednske observat\u00f3rium LHAASO je zhluk detektorov s rozlohou viac ako 1 \u0161tvorcov\u00fd kilometer na hore Haizi, 4410 metrov nad morom v provincii Sichuan. <\/p>\n<p>Viac ako 5 000 detektorov rozmiestnen\u00fdch po mieste zachyt\u00e1va vysokoenergetick\u00e9 \u010dastice, zatia\u013e \u010do viac ako 1 000 mi\u00f3nov\u00fdch detektorov pochovan\u00fdch pod zemou pom\u00e1ha vyl\u00fa\u010di\u0165 sp\u0155\u0161ky \u010dast\u00edc spojen\u00e9 s nes\u00favisiacim kozmick\u00fdm \u017eiaren\u00edm, ktor\u00e9 neust\u00e1le obohacuje Zem. Pred za\u010dat\u00edm prev\u00e1dzky LHAASO v roku 2019 v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ina detektorov pracovala v ove\u013ea ni\u017e\u0161\u00edch energetick\u00fdch p\u00e1smach. Nov\u00e9 v\u00fdsledky v\u0161ak ukazuj\u00fa, \u017ee vesm\u00edr je schopn\u00fd ove\u013ea vy\u0161\u0161\u00edch zr\u00fdchlen\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Pomocou \u00fadajov z prv\u00e9ho roku prev\u00e1dzky LHAASO Cao Zhen z In\u0161tit\u00fatu fyziky vysok\u00fdch energi\u00ed \u010c\u00ednskej akad\u00e9mie vied a jeho kolegovia detekovali viac ako 530 fot\u00f3nov s energiami vy\u0161\u0161\u00edmi ako 0,1 PeV, informovali v\u010dera v Nature. Fot\u00f3ny boli sledovan\u00e9 v 12 tov\u00e1r\u0148ach na kozmick\u00e9 \u017eiarenie, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa schopn\u00e9 zr\u00fdch\u013eovania PeV \u2013 100-kr\u00e1t energickej\u0161ie ako zr\u00e1\u017eky v najv\u00fdkonnej\u0161om rozb\u00edja\u010di at\u00f3mov na svete, Ve\u013ekom hadr\u00f3novom ur\u00fdch\u013eova\u010di. <\/p>\n<p>Zdroje, ktor\u00e9 t\u00edm naz\u00fdva \u201ePeVatrons\u201c, zah\u0155\u0148aj\u00fa dlho podozriv\u00e9 ur\u00fdch\u013eova\u010de, ako je napr\u00edklad Krabia hmlovina, miesto starovekej supernovy, posledn\u00fd v\u00fdbuch umieraj\u00facej hviezdy a domov siln\u00e9ho pulzaru, hustej neutr\u00f3novej hviezdy. Fot\u00f3ny v\u0161ak poch\u00e1dzali z prekvapiv\u00e9ho zdroja: kukly Cygnus, hviezdnej \u0161k\u00f4lky vzdialenej 4600 sveteln\u00fdch rokov od Slnka. &#8220;PeVatrons s\u00fa v podstate v\u0161ade v na\u0161ej galaxii,&#8221; hovor\u00ed Cao.<\/p>\n<p>Tieto pozorovania zanechaj\u00fa teoretikov po\u0161kriabaniu hlavy, aby vysvetlili, ako vlastne PeVatrons funguj\u00fa. Napr\u00edklad modely predpovedali, \u017ee siln\u00e9 magnetick\u00e9 polia z pulzaru v krabej hmlovine m\u00f4\u017eu zv\u00fd\u0161i\u0165 \u010dastice na 0,1 PeV, ale na dosiahnutie 1 PeV, hovor\u00ed Cao, musia by\u0165 v\u0161etky parametre posunut\u00e9 do extr\u00e9mu.<\/p>\n<p>Huentemeyer hovor\u00ed, \u017ee v Cygnus Cocoon by akcelera\u010dn\u00fdm mechanizmom mohli by\u0165 siln\u00e9 r\u00e1zov\u00e9 vlny generovan\u00e9 siln\u00fdm vetrom vych\u00e1dzaj\u00facim z mas\u00edvnych novonaroden\u00fdch hviezd. Pozorovanie LHAASO je v s\u00falade s \u010fal\u0161\u00edm, o ktorom v marci informovali astron\u00f3movia pomocou HAWC : 0,1-PeV gama l\u00fa\u010de zo s\u00fahvezdia Labu\u0165, dod\u00e1va.<\/p>\n<p>Regi\u00f3ny tvoriace hviezdy by sa mali pova\u017eova\u0165 za \u201ev\u00e1\u017enu alternat\u00edvu alebo doplnok k zvy\u0161kom supernov\u201c, ako kandid\u00e1ti na PeVatron, Felix Aharonian, astrofyzik z Dublinsk\u00e9ho in\u0161tit\u00fatu pre pokro\u010dil\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadie a spoluautor \u010dl\u00e1nku Nature , povedal na tla\u010dovej konferencii oznamuj\u00facej, v\u00fdsledky. &#8220;V tejto s\u00fa\u0165a\u017ei PeVatron &#8216;mlad\u00e9 hviezdy verzus m\u0155tve hviezdy&#8217;,&#8221; hovor\u00ed, &#8220;je sk\u00f3re jedna ku nule v prospech mlad\u00fdch hviezd.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A LHAASO e\u0161te nedosiahol svoj pln\u00fd v\u00fdkon.
